Local Photographer to Give Back to the Community with Halloween Themed Sessions

Submitted by: Lesley Francis PR

International award-winning photographer Megan Myrick announces a Limited-Edition Halloween Sessions event at her Richmond Hill studio. This fun-filled afternoon gives families a special opportunity to preserve memories of their little ones in their Halloween costumes. These sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at Megan Myrick Photography’s studio, 128 Frances Meeks Way, Suite 3 in Richmond Hill. Spaces are limited, so families who are interested are encouraged to sign up for an appointment soon. Pre-booking is required.

Always eager to give back to the community where she lives and works, Myrick is also using the sessions as a means to help area families in need. Any clients who bring at least three nonperishable food donations for the Way Station Food Pantry to their session will receive a complimentary extra digital image. The Way Station Food Pantry is an ecumenical food pantry supported by various churches of Richmond Hill currently serving over 100 households each month in South Bryan County.

Each limited-edition session will last 10 minutes, and includes the option of purchasing three images for $55, or five images for $75. Families may get group shots of siblings and step-siblings, but the sessions are for children only.

“I am looking forward to hosting these fun, Halloween-themed sessions again this year and am excited to seeing familiar faces as well as new ones,” Myrick said. “I am so grateful to be able to combine my passion for photography with giving back to our amazing community.”

Myrick asks that clients who bring nonperishable food items for the Way Station Food Pantry keep Thanksgiving and the holidays in mind by bringing items such as canned vegetables and soups, corn muffin, biscuit, stuffing, and cake mixes, cranberry sauce, potatoes, etc.
