Basic Pistol:  

Basic handgun use and safety course for the first time shooter. Students will learn basic concepts pertaining to the proper manipulation of a handgun (i.e., how to check if a firearm is loaded, proper stance, sight alignment, and trigger control).

Cost: $100

 

Basic Carbine:

Students will learn the basic principles of owning and handling a carbine rifle. Topics covered are: loading, unloading, shooting, disassembling, cleaning, and re-assembling the rifle.
Cost: $115

 

Advanced Pistol Level 1:

Learn how to safely manipulate a handgun in a defensive situation. Students will learn how to draw their weapon from concealment, engage multiple targets, clear malfunctions, and move through and around people with a loaded weapon in a safe manner. Students will practice moving, shooting using cover/concealment, as well as shooting with their dominant and support hands.

Equipment Needed: Pistol, Holster, 3 Mags, and 200 rounds of ammunition.
Cost: $170

 

Advanced Carbine Level 1:

Learn how to safely manipulate a carbine rifle in a defensive situation. Students will learn how to shoot multiple targets, move, use cover/concealment, and how to safely move through and around people with a loaded weapon. Students will also practice different methods of reloading their rifle as well as shooting over, around, and under different obstacles using both their dominant and non-dominant sides.

Equipment Needed: Carbine rifle, 3 Mags, and 200 rounds of ammunition.
Cost: $170

Advanced Pistol Level 2:

Think you’ve mastered our Advance Pistol 1 Course? Then give this a shot! Similar to the first advanced course, but now students will practice and shoot drills under increased amounts of stress, smaller targets, and with less time between shots.

Equipment Needed: Pistol, Holster, 3 Mags, and 200 rounds of ammunition.
Cost: $170

 

Advanced Carbine Level 2:

Master our Advanced Carbine 1 Course? Advanced Carbine 2 is a similar course with the addition of transitioning from your carbine to your side arm.

Equipment Needed: Carbine rifle, 3 Mags, and 200 rounds of rifle ammunition, hand gun, holster, at least 3 mags, and 100 rounds of ammunition.
Cost: $170

 

NRA Home Firearm Safety:

In this class, students will learn how to safely unload (“make safe”) several different types of pistols, rifles, and shotguns. By the end of the class, students should feel comfortable knowing they have the knowledge and skills necessary to safely unload any type of firearm they may come in contact with.
Cost: $75

 

Canine 911:

In this seminar style course students will learn how to treat their dog, or somebody else’s, in the event of a traumatic incident (i.e. a shooting, stabbing, car accident, broken bone, etc). The course is approximately 4 hours in length and will consist of a lecture over the material as well as hands on training with our own black lab Izzy!
Cost: $85 per person

 

Lady’s Day At The Range:

Lady’s only! Come out and have a good time at the range while practicing and honing your skills.

*No formal instruction is given*

Participants must pay the range fee of $25

 

Intermediate Class

For those of you that have a handle on the basic fundamentals and want to take it to the next level this course is for you. Students will practice drawing from a holster, engaging multiple targets, reloading from slide lock, and shooting with limited movement.

Minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition is required.
Cost: $150 per person

 

NRA Phase 2

Phase 2 of the NRA Basic Pistol Course reviews and reinforces the information that students will have learned in Phase 1 (the online training). The instructor will go over safety rules and procedures as well work with students as they handle a handgun for the first time. Students should walk away from Phase 2 with a better understanding of pistol shooting as well as a level of comfort in handling them.
This course will be held in a classroom setting as well as on the range with live fire practice.

Cost: $110 per person
